Why we make this recommendation
- Reported fact
- AwesWikis describes zombie consumption restoring hunger and building rage, while normal food gives no benefit. Its level-one rage lists 40% damage reduction for 30 seconds.
- Our interpretation
- The kit offers a defensive window with a resource-management cost. Its usefulness depends on having that window when you need it.
- When it applies
- Choose it for that loop, provided you accept the feeding restriction. We have not established on-demand activation or protection against every hazard.
- What could change it
- Evidence about rage activation, available corpses and which attacks bypass protection would materially change our recommendation.

Ghoul price and food trade-off
Reported price: 18,000 tickets. AwesWikis describes zombie consumption as a source of hunger and rage, while ordinary food provides no benefit.
Reported Ghoul rage progression
| Level | Rage duration | Damage reduction | Jump | Landing damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30 seconds | 40% | 2× | 50 |
| 2 | 45 seconds | 60% | 2.5× | 75 |
| 3 | 60 seconds | 80% | 3× | 100 |
Is Ghoul worth saving for?
Our early A placement comes from the reported protection window. If it works against your threats and can be activated reliably, it gives the kit a clear survival purpose. Neither condition has been independently confirmed here.
The food restriction makes this a deliberate playstyle choice. If you prefer a conventional supply routine, do not pick Ghoul just because it is the most expensive ticket listing.
Ghoul versus Vampire
Ghoul costs a reported 6,000 more tickets. Its decision point is managing rage and zombie consumption; Vampire centers on night bonuses and lifesteal with a different healing restriction. Both are A-tier shortlists, not measured equals.
Rage details still unresolved
Do not interpret 80% as immunity. The reported number does not establish coverage against every boss or hazard.
- Activation threshold and whether you can choose when to enter rage.
- Which attacks the reduction covers and whether it stacks with equipment.
- Eligible corpse types and exact bite-resource calculations.
- Upgrade costs and requirements.
Questions before your next run
- Can Ghoul eat normal food?
- AwesWikis reports that ordinary food gives Ghoul no benefit, while zombie consumption supplies hunger and rage. This has not been independently checked in-game.
- Is Ghoul better than Vampire?
- Both are in our early A tier. Ghoul has reported rage protection; Vampire has night bonuses and lifesteal. Current evidence does not establish an overall winner.
